Getting your first 1,000 followers is a completely different problem from getting from 1,000 to 10,000. The first thousand is about proving you'll keep showing up. The next nine thousand is about proving you're worth following on purpose.
Between 1K and 10K, the accounts that grow are the ones a stranger could summarise in one sentence. 'Kenyan food priced under KES 500.' 'Nairobi thrift finds.' 'Beginner coding in Kiswahili.' If you can't finish the sentence, your audience can't either.

In Kenya, the strongest windows are typically early morning (6–8am), lunch (12–1pm) and evening (7–10pm). Test each window for two weeks with the same kind of video and let your own analytics — not generic advice — decide.
Buying followers is most effective at a milestone boundary: crossing 1,000 to unlock LIVE, or pushing a proven account past the point where brands start noticing. It should amplify a real account, not substitute for one. Pair any boost with a steady posting rhythm or the audience won't stick.
